Welcome to CircleAround, a digital media website for women.

The "circle" is a universal symbol with many meanings, including timelessness, unbreakable commitment, tradition, and life itself. These are all values long cherished by women and built into the DNA of CircleAround. Not only is our site a vibrant content destination for women — full of uplifting, inspiring, thought-stimulating, and useful articles, opinion pieces, interviews, profiles, and other content — but it is also designed to help them navigate their lives.

CircleAround is operated by One GS Media, a 100% wholly owned subsidiary of Girl Scouts of the USA. Revenue is generated through advertisers on the site and we make revenue distributions to Girl Scouts of the USA so the organization can further its mission of building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. This is essential, because Girl Scouts is one of the most trusted and beloved organizations in the country. And with members across the United States, Girl Scouts is creating the next generation of amazing women leaders.

We pledge (read "Our Pledge on Diversity and Inclusion") to be an inclusive place for women during every life stage and from every walk of life: from communities of color, from every religion and creed, from the woman just entering the workforce to the one transitioning to retirement, from the new mom to the woman newly taking care of her mom, from the new immigrant to the fifth-generation descendant, from city dwellers to rural Americans.

One of our content categories is called “Inspire,” where we feature stories of women change-makers doing heroic or remarkable things, and where we address contemporary conflicts with an eye on helpful solutions from which others will benefit. Our content also includes purpose-driven coverage of other essential topics, in such categories as “Wellness,” “Parenting,” “Relationships,” “Food,” and “Work & Money.” On day one, our content includes such pieces as how to help your kids take action against racism; a profile of a Gold Award Girl Scout who developed an Ebola curriculum for students; and a story about a moving collaboration between nine different religious communities to address food insecurity during the COVID-19 pandemic.

CircleAround offers a holistic mosaic of information so critical to women, written primarily by women. We feature stories from all over the country, and from a wide variety of communities, and we will always stand for justice, for respect, and for the inherent value and worth of each individual.

We invite you to explore our new site and give us feedback on what you like and what other topics you would like to see our site include. And we’ll work hard to delight and enlighten you with meaningful content, so that we can count on you as part of our ever-growing circle.
