It's that time, friends, when we bring you a roundup of the funniest things women have said and/or done this week for your laughing pleasure!
Some giggle-inducing tweets from the week:
Other hilarity from women that ensued:
This Viral Amazon Review of a Pair of Leggings
The review from July 2020 went viral this week because of how, uh, relatable it was. The woman who penned the now-iconic review did so “for a pair of seemingly indestructible leggings,” says the New York Post. The leggings apparently survived entirely intact despite the wearer rolling down a mountain while wearing them. Who among us has not been there? This is hilarious even just reading about, but we urge you to take a look at the photos that the woman included. They’re truly something.
These Daylight Saving Tweets
HuffPost’s Caroline Bologna wrangled up the best tweets about daylight savings time, which seemed to set everyone off on the wrong foot this week. Isn’t the sun setting before 5 p.m. just the absolute worst? Anyway, our favorite was one by comedian Aparna Nancherla, who quipped: “I love when it gets dark early because my brain is like ‘SAMESIES!!!’”
Diane Keaton’s List of Men
Diane Keaton inexplicably posted a video on Instagram of “male beauty,” aka a bunch of men she finds attractive, with narrative commentary by her imposed over it. The video is bizarre, quirky, and just downright hilarious in and of itself, but one element took it all a step further. The first man in the video is labeled as a young Leonardo DiCaprio, which Keaton says in her narration: “Leonardo DiCaprio, give me a break. I knew him when he was a kid." However, the person shown is not Leo. It’s actually Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe’s son, Deacon. Witherspoon even commented to correct Keaton and, gosh, it’s just so good.
