The Funniest Things Women Did the Week of September 6

It's that time, friends, when we bring you a roundup of the funniest things women have said and /or done this week for your laughing pleasure!

There was no shortage of HILARIOUS tweets to make us laugh out loud so here are a few of our personal favorites:

Other moments sure to put a smile on your face this week:

1. This Woman Who Got a Surprise From Her Pilot Boyfriend in the Sky

In a now-viral video, the pilot can be heard talking to a full flight of people ahead of takeoff and points out that his girlfriend, Hanna, is sitting in 2C. The moment is simultaneously wildly cute and also so embarrassing, but hey — at least he told the fellow passengers to “either give her a fist bump, high five or direct all your snacks and small bottles of water to her, please and thank you." Boyfriend goals?!

2. This Woman’s Tweet of a Painted Roach That Prompted Hilarious Responses

After a woman’s landlord appeared to paint over a now-deceased cockroach with one of its legs flailing in the air on the wall of her apartment, many people on Twitter have gotten creative with their interpretations of the imagery. Trust us, you’re going to want to scroll through the replies.

3. This Woman’s Olivia Pope Imitation

Scandal fans will live for this: TikTok user Hillary Caitlyn Phillips took a stab at imitating none other than Olivia Pope in a video that has her pretending to be Pope giving a friend break-up advice. The mouth movements, mannerisms, and intonation are all spot on so we’re not sure if we suddenly need to rewatch all of “Scandal” or just all of Phillips’ videos.

4. Idina Menzel Laughs About a Memorable Time with John Travolta

Menzel spilled some of the tea of what was going on in her head after John Travolta referred to her as Adele Dazeem at the 2014 Academy Awards ceremony. Menzel, among other things, calls it the “greatest thing that ever happened.”
