Priyanka Chopra doesn't just want a few kids — she wants an entire sports team.
The
Quantico actress and wife of Nick Jonas revealed her family plans in a recent interview with
The Sunday Times and quipped that she wanted to make a "cricket team of children.“
“I do want children, as many as I can have. A cricket team? I’m not so sure," she went on to clarify to the publication.
The 38-year-old has been married to the youngest member of the Jonas Brothers for just over two years. The duo
was first linked in May of 2017 after attending the Met Gala together. Rumors swirled for the better part of a year after that they were an item. The pair were engaged in July 2018 and celebrated their nuptials multiple times over the course of a few days in December 2018.
Chopra also spoke candidly to the Times about her and Jonas's time together in close quarters during the pandemic.
"Quarantine gave us the ability to spend a lot of time together, which I'm really blessed by," she told the publication. "Because with both of our careers, it's hard to find that kind of time."
She also shared that she finds it comforting to know Jonas is "in her corner."
It's unclear when the couple will embark on parenthood, but they have some hints of how it will go with their various nieces and nephews. Their most recent addition to that brood was via Jonas's sibling Joe Jonas and wife Sophie Turner's newborn; Turner
reportedly gave birth to a baby girl in July 2020 and has definitely spent some time with Uncle Nick and Aunt Priyanka.
