Chocolate Fondue Recipe

We’ve saved the best for last. Since there really is nothing more indulgent and romantic than melted chocolate, end your night with this decadent chocolate fondue.

2 Servings Prep Time: 7 minutes

  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • ¾ bag semisweet chocolate chips
  • ¼ bag white chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp. unsalted butter
  • ½ tsp. vanilla extract
  • Assorted fruits, rice krispies, and marshmallows for dipping

Before adding anything to the fondue pot, heat the heavy whipping cream in a saucepan until it comes to a slight boil. Remove the pan from the heat and slowly add in the chocolate, then add in the butter and vanilla extract. Once the chocolate begins to smooth out, transfer it to the fondue pot. Ensure that the pot remains warm but not too hot so that you don’t burn the chocolate. If you find that the fondue is becoming too dry or too thick, just add in a splash of cream or milk and stir. When it comes to dipping, I like to use all sorts of fruits like strawberries, bananas, and raspberries, along with other treats like graham crackers or marshmallows.
