Homemade Scones Recipe
- 2 cups flour, sifted
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. ground cloves or nutmeg
- 2 tbsp. coconut oil
- 2/3 cup almond or coconut milk
- Optional: A spritz of Stevia (or 2 tablespoons of sugar)
You don’t have to be a baking wizard to whip up this teatime classic. Blend the dry ingredients in a separate bowl, followed by the wet ingredients. Place your doughy round into a clay baking pan (if possible), and bake at 450 degrees for about 10 minutes. Slice and serve warm with a side of cream and jelly. I prefer heavy cream myself, but the choice is up to you.
