Pineapple Jalapeño Sangria Recipe
Fruity and flavorful, this pineapple jalapeño sangria is the perfect addition to your summer BBQ or gathering. The sweetness of the pineapple creates a great contrast with the spiciness of the jalapeño, resulting in a perfectly balanced summer cocktail recipe.
Ingredients
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup water
- 2 fresh jalapeno peppers, sliced
- 750 ml Sauvignon Blanc wine
- 46 oz. pineapple juice
- 12 oz lime soda
- ½ chopped pineapple
Instructions
To start, make your spicy simple syrup by combining your water, sugar, and sliced jalapeño in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved and the syrup is smooth. Next, take it off the stove and cool for about 10 minutes before straining the jalapeños. As the simple sugar cools, add your desired amount of ice to a large pitcher before throwing in the entire bottle of wine, pineapple juice, and soda. Then, add 1/2 cup of your spicy simple syrup to the pitcher. Stir everything together and then throw in your fresh pineapple chunks along with some extra jalapeño slices.
