Roasted Cauliflower Steaks Recipe
Though it is very different from a traditional steak, this roasted cauliflower steak recipe allows you to get creative in the kitchen. Experiment with texture and various seasonings in order to take a rather bland vegetable and make it something spectacular.
Ingredients
- 1 head of cauliflower
- 3 tbsp. olive oil
- 1/2 tbsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 lemon
Instructions
Begin by slicing cauliflower head into as many “steaks” as you can, ensuring that each piece is about ½-inch to 1-inch thick. Next, in a bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and half of a squeezed lemon into a bowl. Mix thoroughly before coating both sides of each cauliflower steak in the oil mixture. Place the steaks on an oven-safe pan and roast at 400 degrees for 15 minutes before turning them over and roasting for another 15 minutes.
