Looking to feel as though you're sipping something sweet yet spicy on a tropical beach? This serrano and mango daiquiri is exactly what you need as you soak up the sun this summer. Though you can create this drink on the rocks, it is most refreshing when made frozen.

4 Servings Prep Time: 15 minutes

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 5 serrano chilis, sliced in half
  • 4 whole serrano chilis for garnish
  • 4 cups frozen mango
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 2 ½ cups of ice
  • ½ cup vodka

Make your spicy simple syrup by boiling your water, sugar, and sliced serrano peppers in a saucepan. Once the sugar is dissolved, remove the chilis and cool the syrup. Next, place your mangos, lime juice, and 1/2 cup of simple syrup in your blender. Blend until smooth before adding your vodka and blending again. Serve immediately and garnish each cocktail with a whole serrano chili.
