The Funniest Things Women Did the Week of Nov. 22
It's that time, friends, when we bring you a roundup of the funniest things women have said and/or done this week for your laughing pleasure!
Kicking us off with some tweets to make you weak (we're sorry), here we go:
Keeping the laughter going, we've gathered these goodies:
This Jonas Brothers Roast
Sophie Turner dragged her husband Joe Jonas to hell and back in the new Netflix comedy special Jonas Brothers Family Roast. The Game of Thrones star brought up the fact that Joe and his brothers, Kevin and Nick, used to wear purity rings in the early aughts to emphasize “a promise to myself and to God that I’ll stay pure until marriage.” To that, Turner had some, uh, spicy things to say that we can’t write here, but it’s well worth watching on your own for the chuckle.
Adele Had a Funny Story About Getting Pulled Over
During her TV special, An Audience with Adele, Adele regaled the audience — and specifically Samuel L. Jackson — with an anecdote about getting pulled over. In addition to saying how one never quite knows what will happen in America when getting pulled over, she goes on to share how she managed to escape going to “jail.” You can watch the moment on TikTok here.
Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves Apparently Got Married?
Winona Ryder apparently believes she and Keanu Reeves are married and have been for three decades. Reeves sat down with Esquire for a profile this month and revealed that during his time filming Bram Stoker’s Dracula, he and Ryder "did a whole take of a marriage ceremony with real priests.” The anecdote has been swirling for years, but it’s quite funny to have Reeves just openly admit: “So, I guess we're married...under the eyes of God." You can watch part of the interview here.
