Raven-Symoné raved about her life as a newlywed, declaring in an interview that her time as a married woman thus far is “like a hot toddy in winter, honey!”

The 34-year-old talked to ET Online earlier this month about being newly married to partner Miranda Pearman-Maday, a social media manager for restaurant-adjacent app Off the Menu.

In addition to calling her life with Pearman-Maday "so good,” the actor and singer said that the pair have been spending their days "full of laughs and conversations and growth and goal building."

"I've been very private with my personal life, give or take, like, one or two [situations], and I've just opened up," she told the publication. "We have conversations, [we] post, and it feels good to be able to share a little bit more of my life to the world."

Both the relationship and nuptials were a surprise last month when Symoné and Pearman-Maday announced on their respective Instagram pages that they were officially off the market. In the photos they shared, fans gleaned that the pair had a private ceremony with only a few close friends and family. Symoné wore black and Pearman-Maday wore white.

Of the relationship, Symoné told ET Online that she fell in love with Pearman-Maday because “she's independent. She's self-sufficient and she challenges me every day."

"She's like, 'You know, you ain't that special,' and I'm like, 'Ooh, say it again.' Like I need that; I need somebody to bring that ego check in every now and then,” said the former That’s So Raven star.

More recently, the couple has been posting about their goings-on while in lockdown to prevent the spread of coronavirus. They’ve done a handful of
fun Instagram Lives to give fans a look at what their lives are like behind-the-scenes.
