Welcome to the billionaires club, Rihanna.

The singer, actor and business mogul, born Robyn Fenty, is now reportedly a billionaire as per Forbes. On Wednesday, the publication reported that the 33-year-old is now worth a whopping $1.7 billion and the wealthiest female musician in the world. She's also one of the richest female entertainers, superseded by only Oprah Winfrey.

While Rihanna's albums and numerous smash hits on the charts have aided in building her wealth, much of her fortune stems from her other business ventures.

Her beauty line, Fenty Beauty, which she owns 50 percent of, is worth $2.8 billion meaning RiRi rakes in an estimated $1.4 billion from just that brand alone. And if the numbers don't intimate the success of the company, then consider this factoid:  In its first year of existence, Fenty Beauty brought in more revenue than other celebrity-founded brands such as Kylie Jenner’s Kylie Cosmetics, Kim Kardashian West’s KKW Beauty, and Jessica Alba’s Honest Co.

Rihanna is also part owner (30 percent stake) of lingerie company Savage x Fenty, which is worth an estimated $270 million and launched burgeoning skincare brand Fenty Skin in 2020.

Of her financial success, Shannon Coyne, cofounder of consumer products consultancy Bluestock Advisors told Forbes that the Barbados native has created "a brand outside of herself."

"It’s not just about Rihanna. Even if you don't like her music, she’s created a real style in the fashion and beauty space," says Coyne.

Her fashion, beauty, and musical prowess aside, Rihanna has kept herself very busy despite not releasing an album since 2016's Anti. In the last five years, on top of launching thriving businesses, she's also starred in hit films such as Ocean's Eight and indie stunners such as Guava Island.
