We’re not crying, you’re crying: Model Meadow Walker got married earlier this month and honored her late father, Paul Walker, in the sweetest way.

The 22-year-old tied the knot with actor Louis Thornton-Allan in the Dominican Republic in front of “an intimate group of family and friends,” reported Vogue. One of those friends was Fast & Furious star Vin Diesel, who starred alongside Paul Walker in the franchise and was a dear friend of the actor.

In a moving tribute to the late Walker, Diesel walked Meadow down the aisle in a powder blue suit and sunglasses. Meadow shared a photo of the emotional moment on her Instagram this weekend.

Since Paul Walker died in 2013 in a car accident at the age of 40, Diesel has been very vocal about his affection for Meadow, who is his goddaughter. Earlier this year, Diesel told Extra that Meadow is “the first person on Father’s Day to wish me Happy Father’s Day” and that it’s “one of the most beautiful things” to see her play with his children.

“There are moments when I see her playing with [my daughter] Pauline and it hits me so deep, ’cause I can only imagine what my brother sees when he sees that,” Diesel said of Walker.

Of the wedding, Meadow told Vogue that she and her new husband “couldn’t have imagined it to be any more perfect and personal — and, honestly, it was easy and simple.”

“Louis and I knew exactly what we wanted from the start. It was a very intimate celebration,” she shared.

The celebration involved what Vogue called a “beautiful candlelit dinner, followed by the cutting of the cake and a beach party.”

“We were all barefoot, dancing in the sand,” said Meadow. “To finish the night, there was a wonderful display of fireworks, and we lit lanterns into the picturesque night sky.”
