The season 13 premiere of The Wendy Williams Show is getting pushed back yet again due to the “serious complications” Williams is facing with her health.

On Tuesday, the show’s official Instagram page issued another statement about her return and shared that they would start “airing originals on Monday, October 18, with an exciting lineup of guest hosts and panels to be announced shortly.”

"Wendy continues to be under medical supervision and meets with her medical team on a daily basis. She is making progress but is experiencing serious complications as a direct result of Graves' disease and her thyroid condition. It has been determined that more time is needed before she is able to return to her live hosting duties,” reads the statement.

The statement continued on to call Williams a “valued and stalwart member of the Debmar-Mercury family and has been so for 12 years.”

“We want her health to be her top priority. As soon as she's ready, she will be back in her treasured purple chair. We very much appreciate the respect for Wendy's privacy, as well as all the good wishes from her fans, station partners and advertisers,” they concluded.

This push marks the second time the show has to regroup in the wake of Williams grappling with health issues. The Season 13 premiere was originally set for Sept. 20 and was later moved to Oct. 4, when the 57-year-old contracted a breakthrough case of COVID-19.

Williams has long been public about her diagnosis with Graves’ disease, an “immune system disorder that results in the overproduction of thyroid hormones (hyperthyroidism),” as per the Mayo Clinic. She revealed the illness to fans in 2018 and even took a hiatus from her show last year as a result of related issues.
