Maintaining work-life balance and motherhood can sometimes feel like a Herculean task. Fortunately, workplaces are increasingly becoming more accommodating for parents by offering flexible hours, work-from-home schedules, better health care, onsite nurseries, and other benefits. Moms have more options as well. It may require finding a new job or pursuing a new career to settle into work that aligns with your responsibilities as a parent and your desire to make money in a more flexible environment. Plus, you’ll get most of the summer off. Education offers opportunities for job growth, plus many public school teachers are union members and receive a pension.
2Go Digital, Make More Money, Work From Anywhere
Not only is this job remote, they are constantly hiring and it touts a big paycheck. If you’re not tech savvy, you’ll need training in computer programming and the available digital tools, but Career Karma notes that the barrier to entry isn’t complicated. It suggests enrolling in a coding bootcamp or similar classes, which can usually be completed within a year.
3Make Your Body and Your Schedule More Flexible – Teach Yoga or Pilates
Pilates and yoga instructors can work for a studio or operate as a business, which means you can usually set your own hours, creating a full-time or part-time schedule. Plus you have the benefit of practicing how to calm your mind and staying in shape. You’ll need both to help manage your time with the kids.
